Belief
We believe your public message should match what you truly believe.
Teams publish more than ever: websites, social posts, emails, decks and campaigns. Still, many leaders wonder whether their supporters hear the truth they carry.
An SYT Assessment is an in-depth look at your communications channels, and at the alignment between who you say you are in public and who your strongest supporters believe you are. We read what you put out. We talk with the people who love you, one by one. Then we show you where the two meet and where they drift apart.
We start by auditing what you say publicly
Every communications calendar comes down to a basic goal: we want our people to recognize us and act. Pressure to publish often fills channels with borrowed tactics and off-brand noise, until even loyal supporters struggle to hear what you believe.
We open by laying your materials next to your vision, mission and values, and next to the core belief you mean to lead with. We ask one question: does what you say publicly match what you believe today?
Together we will look at:
- Channel audit. We review your website, email, social media, appeals, print and other channels. We read them and share back the key themes and messages you are promoting.
- Brand voice check. Who do you sound like on a good day, and who shows up when the deadline wins? We look for where your voice is strong and where it fades.
- Core belief clarity. We test whether your organization's core belief can be said in one strong sentence, and whether your materials carry it.

We listen to the people who love you, one by one
We have to hear the story your people already tell before we can sharpen how you tell it. So we talk with them, one person at a time. We use love as the bar, because organizing around a lukewarm connection is how movements stall.
Why one on one?
Questionnaires give shallow answers. In a group, people hold back and follow the loudest voice. A one-on-one conversation is different. People slow down, say what they really think, and tell you what brought them in. That is where the truth lives.
So we interview. Each person gets a real conversation with us, guided by a proprietary SYT assessment. It helps them say what movement they believe they are joining, what winning looks like to them, and what motivates them to take part.
You bring us a mix of people who love your organization and who represent the different audiences you want to reach. We do the rest.
Your assessment includes 10 to 12 one-on-one interviews.
Together we will look at:
- One-on-one interviews. What movement do they believe you lead? What brought them in? What does winning look like from where they sit?
- Gap analysis. We set your intended story beside the story your people tell back. Where they match, you have resonance to build on. Where they don't, you have honest, useful work to do.
- Recommendations and debrief. You get clear, ranked recommendations and a live conversation with our team. The recommendations are yours to use on your own or with SYT's help.

Two possible outcomes. Both give you clarity.
You feel confident.
What you say matches what your people believe. Now you know it, and you can keep going with conviction.
You find a misalignment.
What you say and what your people believe have drifted apart. Now you know where, and you can close the gap.
Either way, you stop guessing. You know where you stand.
